Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry and claim instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions and by the decision of the Promoter, which is final in all matters relating to the promotion. Please retain a copy for your information.

  1. Promoter: Pernod Ricard UK Limited, Building 7 Chiswick Park, 566 Chiswick High Road, London W4 5YG. Please do not send entries to this address.
  2. The Promotion will be managed on behalf of the Promoter by VCG The Promorisk People Ltd., 2 Marchmont Gate, Maxted Road, Hemel Hempstead, Herts, HP2 7BE (“VCG”), who will receive entries and choose winners on behalf of the Promoter as well as manage the administration of the entry page ([www.jamesonwhiskey.com/en-gb/jameson-x-weber/win]) and delivery of prizes.
  3. Eligibility: Promotion open to residents of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) aged 18 years and over, except employees and families of the Promoter and its affiliate companies, agencies and anyone professionally connected with the promotion. Excludes residents of the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.
  4. Promotional Period:

The Promotional Period contains two different periods:

    1. Main Promotional Period: The main promotional period is open from 00.01 GMT on 1st April 2024 and closes at 23.59 GMT on 30th September 2024.   
    2. Late Promotional Period: The late promotional period is open from 00.01 GMT on 1st October 2024 and closes at 23.59 GMT on 30th November 2024.

 

  1. Entry Instructions: There are two ways to enter the Promotion:

 

    1. To enter, entrants must purchase a Promotion stickered bottle of Jameson Black Barrel (a “Qualifying Bottle”), during the Promotional Period and enter the unique code found under the sticker at www.jamesonwhiskey.com/en-gb/jameson-x-weber/win as well as their name, mobile number and email address. 

 

    1. For online orders during the Promotional Period of a Qualifying Bottle where the purchased Qualifying Bottle does not contain a unique Promotion sticker or neck tag, entrants may submit their proof of purchase via upload of online order receipt to www.jamesonwhiskey.com/en-gb/jameson-x-weber/win in order to enter the Promotion. Entries via this method will be subject to a maximum of three (3) entries per person / email address.

Depending on the date that the entrant enters the Promotion, it will be determined that entrants are a Main Promotional Period entrant or and Late Promotional Period entrant.

  1. Main Prizes: There are up to a maximum of one hundred (100) main prizes to be won.  Each main prize is a Weber BBQ Kit which shall include the following items:
  • A Weber gas BBQ
  • BBQ gloves
  • Precision toolset
  • Premium BBQ cover
  • Cleaning Kit
  • Drip pans

Please be aware that it is possible that not all one hundred (100) Main Prizes will be won. Rate of winners is dependent on the number of entrants and the Promoter anticipates that there shall be a win rate of 1 winner per 230 Qualifying Bottles.

  1. Main Prize Winner selection:

 

    1. Winners will be allocated via a randomized computer algorithm process overseen by an independent third party and will be notified instantly on screen and asked to provide address details to receive their prize.. Prize will be delivered to winner via a signed for courier service within 28 days of date of win.

 

  1. Late Promotion Prize

 

    1. During the Late Promotional Period there is one prize of A bottle of Jameson Black Barrel and Jameson Hipflask to be won (“Late Promotion Prize”). Every participant who enters the Promotion during the Late Promotional Period will be entered into a draw for a chance to win the Late Promotion Prize. At the end of the Late Promotional Period, a winner of the Late Promotion Prize will be chosen from all entrants by randomized computer process (the “Late Promotion Prize Winner”). A member of the VCG team will then contact the Late Promotion Prize Winner via email in order to verify their age and obtain delivery information. Delivery is available to addresses within the United Kingdom only. The Late Promotion Prize is non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available. The Late Promotion Prize is subject to availability. In the event that any products are unavailable, an alternative product of equal value will be provided. The Late Promotion Prize Winner is responsible for ensuring that any delivery note is checked on receipt.

 

    1. The Late Promotion Prize Winner shall have a period of fourteen (14) days in order to reply to VCG’s notification email in order to claim the Late Promotion Prize. Should the Late Promotion Prize Winner fail to reply within this fourteen (14) day period, it shall be deemed that they have forfeited the Late Promotion Prize and VCG shall select an alternative winner using the same process as was used to select the original Late Promotion Prize Winner.   

 

  1. General:

 

  1. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries or prize claims that are lost, delayed or damaged for any reason whatsoever.

 

  1. Incomplete entries/claims or those not in accordance with the entry/claim instructions will not be accepted.

 

  1. Winners’ surnames and counties will be made available upon request.  Full names and counties will be made available to the ASA or any other competent body upon request.

 

  1. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash or date alternative is available. However, the Promoter reserves the right to award similar alternative prizes of equal or greater value in the event of circumstances outside of its control.

 

  1. You agree that, to the extent permissible by law, the Promoter and its affiliates, agents assume no liability for injuries, losses or damages or any kind to property or persons, including without limitation death, resulting in whole or part, directly or indirectly, from the management of or mechanics behind the promotion, entry into the promotion, the acceptance of the prize, and any acts or omissions of the companions, winner.

 

  1. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of prizes, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these terms and conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.

 

  1. The Promoter reserves the right to exclude any entries/claims that it reasonably believes to be fraudulent or based on misconduct.

 

  1. By entering the promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Promoter, which is also the Data Controller, for the purposes of the administration of this promotion and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented.

 

  1. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries including but not limited to asking for address, age and identity details (which they must provide within 14 days) and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this promotions entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decisions and these will be binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation this clause.

 

  1. Personal data which is provided by entrants on entering the Promotion will be processed and stored in a database by the Promoter for the purpose of managing entry into the Promotion.  By providing personal information, entrants consent to the processing and storage of personal information by the Promoter for this purpose.  Consents can be withdrawn or amended at any time by emailing ukconsumerfeedback@pernod-ricard.com. If an entrant withdraws consent to the storage and processing of their data for the purposes of administering the Promotion, they will also be withdrawn from the Promotion itself.

 

  1. Once all Prizes have been administered, all personal data will be deleted unless specific consent has been given for the Promoter to send further communications. 

 

  1. This promotion and these terms are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
